Spring has sprung, a favorite time for so many of us. What's more fun than spending time in your garden? Whether you're planting herbs and vegetables, contemplating floral domination, or creating the perfect outdoor oasis, it all begins now.
The Highline has announced its first ever plant sale: “Rooted in Resilience” on 5/30.
If you haven't made time to visit the beautiful and wonderfully creative green space, a shining jewel in the concrete jungle, you are missing out. This is your chance to beautify your garden, learn about unique plants, selected by experts, to address specific garden needs and dip your toe into the well of sustainable gardens. Workshops are scheduled over a diverse array of topics: Shade plants, Wildlife habitats, Drought Resistant and Rain Garden plants. Registration is required. Find all about it Here.
You can also download an app for the site, see plant lists and more -> Highline Gardens
As a landscape designer and devotee of Piet Oudolf, visiting the Highline was my first chance to experience an Oudolf garden up close and it didn't disappoint. Visit, take pics of your plant haul, or just let us know how much you loved it in the comments. Best pic submissions will be posted on our Instagram feed.
Happy Planting!!!
